County Chamber has been tasked with organizing the Sheridan County Fair parade. This year they have asked the Rushville Chamber to pick the theme. Melissa Matulka noted that this is the 135thyear anniversary for the Sheridan County Fair and the 150thyear for the State Fair. A few suggestions were noted … “There’s no place like the county fair” and “Frontier Moments”. The discussion was tabled until the local Extension office contest regarding a T-shirt Design to try and coordinate them.
It has been brought to our attention that not all Chamber members have a “First Dollar of Profit” plaque. The history of this project is somewhat unknown. A committee has been formed to research this topic and determine who does and doesn’t have plaque.
The next meeting will be on May 20th at the Sandridge Golf hosted by the Golf Course at 12 noon.
With no other business, the president closed the meeting in due form at 12:40 pm.
